ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – On the final day of the CCAA Championship Tournament,
Jonah Camarillo emerged as a standout competitor as he tied for second place overall, marking the highest finish for a Toro at the CCAA Championship in 25 years, a historic achievement for the program.
Camarillo led the charge for the Toros as he scored 208 with rounds of 68, 73, and 67.
Francis Bautista closed the tournament tied for 24th overall with scores of 72, 71, and 75, totaling 218.
David Cho showed significant improvement in the final round, carding a 67 to bounce back from his earlier scores of 78 and 77. His final round boost helped him to a tie for 30th place with a total of 222.
Aaron Sanchez carded an overall score of 223 placed him in 34th position with rounds of 68, 77, and 78.
Andy Garcia, rounding out the Toros' lineup, placed 40th with a total of 238 after rounds of 81, 79, and 78.
The Toros finished in eighth place, with a total score of 871 after rounds of 286, 298, and 287.
