Although the official school name is California State University, Dominguez Hills, the Athletics Department prefers to be called Cal State Dominguez Hills. Game Press Table Reservations
Working space on the press table or in the designated press areas is limited to working media only. Seats are reserved for media covering CSUDH regularly. All other requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to each game. Please reserve seating by calling (310) 243-3764. Wired and wireless internet connections are available at the table for volleyball and basketball games. There is also a phone line that may be reserved for radio media. However, it is strongly recommended to provide the Athletic Communications office at least two weeks notice that visiting broadcast will be in attending so our department will make the proper preparations. For COVID-19 reasons, all media personnel including broadcasters and photographers must present a negative COVID-19 test result taken 72 hours prior to the upcoming contest.
Media Credentials
Requests for all media credentials should be addressed to the Athletic Communications office via email, fax, or phone. Credentials will be issued at the discretion of the SID for either single games, sports or the entire season for all athletics events. Credentials will be mailed if time permits or can be picked up at the main athletics office on the CSUDH campus. Arrangements to pick up credentials at another time or date can be made by contacting the sports information contact for each sport.
Photography/Videography
Those planning on attending a CSUDH athletic event for the purpose of photography/videography must contact the Athletic Communications office 48 hours prior to the event. Media and third parties requesting photographs and videos for usage in editorial stories should contact the Athletic Communications office via e-mail or phone and include: requestor's name and email address, organization or publication name, the name of the student-athlete needed, photo desired (mugshot or action photo), deadline information and a brief description regarding the scope of the story.
Interview Policy
All interviews not related to competition must be scheduled through the Athletic Communications office with more than 72 hours notice via email. We want to ensure that the interview scheduling does not interfere with our student-athletes class and other schedules they have. Post-game Interviews with coaches and players may be granted with prior written request (email or fax) at least 72 hours in advance. There are no formal post-game press conferences unless in the postseason.
