CARSON -- It was a different day, but the same story for the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team after visiting Cal State Monterey Bay handed the Toros their fourth-consecutive 1-0 loss tonight in Carson, dropping CSUDH to 2-4-1, 1-4 CCAA.

Korie Soares accounted for the game's lone goal at the 16:14 mark, taking a through ball from Shoshana Wangerin and one-touching it past Toro keeper Tiffany Hollis for a 1-0 lead.

That turned out to be all the Otters needed as keeper Diana Zambrano made 7 saves in 14 Toro shots to earn the shutout win, improving CSUMB to 4-2, 2-2 CCAA.

Hollis countered with 5 saves of her own in the loss as the hosts limited CSUMB to just 10 shots.

The Toros, who last scored in a 3-1 win over then No. 13 CS Stanislaus on September 7, look to break the scoreless trend on Sunday as Cal State East Bay visits Carson for an 11:30 am first kick.
