CARSON -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team fell to visiting Cal State San Marcos by a 1-0 tally this morning in Toro Stadium, marking the ninth time CSUDH has been unable to score a goal.
The Toros fall to 2-12 overall and 0-10 in CCAA play with three matches left in the regular season.
The Cougars dominated today's action, enjoying a 13 to 3 shot advantage that included a 3 to 1 edge in shots on goal.
It didn't take long for San Marcos to get on the board after scoring in the 11th minute, but the CSUDH defense did the rest, shutting down the Cougars for the remaining 79:07 minutes of play, anchored by keeper
Marlies Nauman (pictured), who made one save in the second half.
Alexis Delgado fired two shots for the hosts including one on frame, with

The Toros take to the road next week for their final road trip, starting at San Francisco State on Thursday, October 22.
