SAN FRANCISCO -- Playing for pride and to close out the 2012 season on "Senior Day," host San Francisco State used a goal in the 76th minute to take a 2-1 win over visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills, snapping the Toros' 7-match win streak prior to the start of the CCAA Championship Tournament on Friday.

With the loss, CSUDH finishes second in the CCAA south, and will face north division winner Chico State in Friday's second semifinal, set for a 7 pm start.

Vazquez started the game's scoring early after taking a cross from Jio Santana and finishing from 10 yards out at 11:18 for a 1-nil lead.

That momentum didn't last long, however, as SFSU's Luis Fidel Medina equalized less than seven minutes later after launching a free kick fro 38 yards away and beating Toro keeper Trey Mitchell at 18:08 to tie the game.

That's where the score stood until the 76th minute when Jairo Magana sent a cross to Edgar Villagrana, whose blast into the upper right V beat Mitchell for what would prove to be the game winner.

The Toros took 17 shots compared to SFSU's 16, and enjoyed a 10 to 6 corner kick edge.

A physical contest, the two teams combined for 23 fouls and 7 cautions.

In the first meeting between the Wildcats and Toros in Chico, CSUDH was out-shot 18-7 but took a 3-1 win, with three different Toros notching goals.

The Wildcats enter Friday's match-up with a 12-match unbeaten streak, with the loss against the Toros their last setback of the year.
