STOCKTON -- Senior Zachary Iwashita fired a 1-over 73 on day one of the Men's DII Visit Stockton Invitational, putting himself in an eight-way tie for 22nd place in the tournament which takes place at The Reserve at Spanos Park.

As a team, CSUDH finds itself in 19th of 21 teams after shooting a 306, two strokes behind fellow CCAA school Stanislaus State.

Colorado State-Pueblo leads all teams after shooting a 2-under 290 today, ahead of Westminster University (Utah) and Dominican, which finished day one tied for 2nd at 291, 3 strokes over par.

Cal State East Bay tops all CCAA schools sitting in a four-way tie for 6th place with a 294.

Dominican's Jonathan Chen sits first after firing a 4-under 68.

Troy Song sits tied for 43rd after a 3-over 75, Ethan Hong sits tied for 81st after a 6-over 78, with Robert Scribner (T97th, 80) and Sam Song (T101st, 81) rounding out the CSUDH quintet.

Round two of the two-day tournament commences tomorrow.
