STOCKTON -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's golf team finished the second and final day of the Men's DII Visit Stockton Invitational in 16th place of 21 teams competing after firing a collective 297, nine shots better than yesterday's effort.
Troy Song (pictured) led the Toro charge, shaving four strokes off yesterday's score of 75 to give him a 146, tying for 23rd overall.
Sam Song tied for 49th after firing a 3-under 69 today, one of only nine golfers to shoot in the 60s, finishing with a 150.Â
Zachary Iwashita finished tied for 69 with a 153 (73-80), followed by
Ethan Hong (T90th, 78-79-157) and
Robert Scribner (96th, 80-78-158).
Coupled with yesterday's 306, CSUDH completed the tournament at 603, just 11 strokes from making the top 10. Colorado State-Pueblo took home team honors by finishing the two-day tourney with a 7-under 569.
Cal State East Bay was the top CCAA finisher, tying for 4th with a total of 581.
