CARSON, Calif. — Despite a tough exit in the CCAA Tournament, the Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team has been rewarded for its dominant body of work, securing the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division II Tournament. The Toros will host the opening rounds this weekend at Toro Stadium, continuing one of the strongest regular seasons in program history.

CSUDH (12-3-4) enters the national tournament after finishing unbeaten in CCAA play, a statement that solidified their place among the top teams in the West Region. Their regular-season excellence also produced six All-CCAA honorees, underscoring the depth, quality, and balance of this year's squad.

Postseason play begins Friday at 3 p.m. at Toro Stadium, when conference rival Cal State LA faces Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) in the opening matchup. The winner will advance to Sunday's showdown against the Toros, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. CSUDH will await its opponent with home-field advantage and a chance to continue its NCAA run in front of the Toro faithful.
