ALISA VIEJO, Calif. -- Cal State Dominguez Hills boasted 35 student-athletes from its four fall sports in the California Collegiate Athletic Association's 2025 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced, continuing the Toros' excellence both in the classroom and in competition.
This past fall, 484 total student-athletes from the CCAA's 12 institutions earned an academic honor roll recognition with a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.3, a seasonal-award distinction that was instituted in 2014.
Honor Roll distinction is given to student-athletes who are at least a sophomore in academic standing with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 and above.
The fall sports honored were women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and volleyball. Women's soccer led the way for the cardinal and gold with 17 selections, with men's soccer and volleyball following with seven each, and cross country four.
The CCAA recognizes individuals academically each season – fall, winter and spring – for all CCAA-sponsored sports. The conference will announce Honor Roll teams after the conclusion of the winter and spring seasons and also has full-year CCAA All-Academic Awards that are announced in June.
