Mariah Ramirez receive D2CCA and NFCA All-West Region honors.
After being selected CCAA Newcomer of the Year and All-CCAA First Team,
Mariah Ramirez brings in NAFC All-West Region Second Team and now D2CCA All-West Region Second Team as a utility player and pitcher. Ramirez was also named CCAA Pitcher of the Week twice this season alone. Since advancing to the NCAA West Super Regional, she started in 56 games with 193.2 innings pitched. She collected 156 strikeouts, 25 wins, 3 saves, and 3 shutouts. At bat, she also tallied 50 hits, 30 runs, and 20 homeruns (ties school record).
Jay Ross was selected NFCA All-West Region First Team and D2CCA All-West Region Second Team as a utility player. Ross was selected All-CCAA First Team as she was selected CCAA Player of the Week twice this season. Heading to the NCAA West Super Regional, she has tallied 74 hits, 38 RBIs, 25 runs, 13 doubles, and five homeruns.
The Toros open the NCAA West Super Regional tomorrow, as they take on No. 1 seed Western Washington at 12pm in Bellingham, WA.
