CARSON – The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros garnered four All-CCAA teams' selections while
Mariah Ramirez earns the prestigious CCAA Newcomer of the Year award.
In her first and final year with the Toros she was named CCAA Pitcher of the Week twice this season alone. She started in 41 games with 147.1 innnings pitched. She collected 18 wins and 2 saves. She also tallied 114 strikeouts, 36 hits, 20 runs, and 12 homeruns. With this stunning season Ramirez was selected CCAA Newcomer of the Year and All-CCAA First Team.
Joining her on the All-CCAA First Team is outfielder
Jay Ross. This season alone, Ross was selected CCAA Player of the Week twice. On the season, she has tallied 64 hits, 34 RBIs, 20 runs, 12 doubles, and four homeruns.
Kaylee Hull joins the All-CCAA Second Team in her final year with the Toros. This season she started every game with the Toros for a total of 50 appearance on the field. On the season, Hull has collected 52 hits, 35 RBIs, 26 runs,11 doubles, and eight homeruns.
Alexis Aguado closes out the All-CCAA selections as she was selected Honorable Mention. This season she collected 48 hits, 27 runs, 19 RBIs and four doubles. She grabbed 100 putouts for a fielding percentage of .977.
