ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros finished the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout in 12th place. The team compiled scores of 293, 300, and 292, culminating in a total of 885, and finishing at +21 over par.
Francis Bautista led the Toros with an exceptional performance, securing 13th place individually. Demonstrating consistency and precision, Bautista carded rounds of 71, 70, and 71, finishing the tournament at -4 under par.
David Cho also made a notable contribution to the team, tying for 44th place. Cho navigated the course with rounds of 73, 74, and 75, totaling +6 over par.
Mahamed Ibrahim, tied for 73rd, showed grit and adaptability. With scores of 79, 74, and 77, Ibrahim ended the tournament at +14 over par.
Aaron Sanchez, tying for 80th, recorded scores of 74, 82, and 76, finishing at +16 over par.
Jonah Camarillo, unfortunately, had to withdraw from the tournament. After starting with a round of 75, Camarillo was unable to continue, marking his score as a withdrawal.
The Toros will compete next in the Stanislaus State Hanny Invite on March 25
th-26
