Box Score FRESNO, Calif. – In a captivating showdown, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros concluded their road trip with a resounding victory over the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds, triumphing 3-2.
 
The Toros wasted no time making their mark, finding the back of the net in the 35th minute when Cynthia Ramirez expertly executed a precision shot, courtesy of a perfectly timed assist from Maya Figueroa. With this early lead, the Toros carried their momentum into the second half.
 
However, the Sunbirds were not to be outdone, staging a dramatic comeback in the 68th minute, leveling the score at 1-1. The intensity on the pitch reached its peak, but it was Cynthia Ramirez who once again emerged to deliver another clinical goal for CSUDH in the 77th minute, restoring their lead to 2-1.
 
In the waning moments, Fresno Pacific displayed their tenacity by netting a crucial goal, equalizing the match at 2-2 with just two minutes remaining.
 
But in a twist of fate, the 89th minute proved to be the Toros' moment of glory. Azalia Salazar seized the opportunity, scoring the decisive and game-winning goal, sealing the first victory for CSUDH, with a final score of 3-2.
 
Cynthia Ramirez led the charge for the Toros, with three shots, two of which found their mark on target. Lauryn Bailey also contributed with two attempts, ensuring one found the target for a shot on goal.
 
The goalkeepers played a pivotal role in securing the victory, with starting goalkeeper Kylie Yuzon amassing three crucial saves, while Abigail Escalante chipped in with two saves of her own.
