BOULDER CITY, Nev. -- Cal State Dominguez Hills'
Andy Yoon tied for 28th place with a 9-over par to post the top finish for the Toros at the Las Vegas Desert Classic, taking place at the Boulder Creek Golf Club.
Lee University's Beck Burnette claimed individual honors with a 204, finishing 12-under par, while Colorado Christian picked up the team title with an overall 870, four shots ahead of Lee.
As a team, CSUDH tied for 14th place in the 20-team field.
Yon finished with a 225 (80-73-72), with
Patrick Ordonez tying for 48th (80-72-77-229),
Joseph Sotelo tying for 53rd (82-78-707-230), and
Francis Bautista tying for 75th (81-77-76-234) to found out the quintet.
CSUDH travels to Oakland next week for the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout.
