CARSON – The expectations are high for Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer as the head coaches in the California Collegiate Athletic Association predict the Toros to finish a respectable third in the upcoming 2022 season.
In addition to the great amount of respect for Dominguez Hills, the coaches also thought highly of sophomore midfielders and Sierra Leone natives
Alpha Sowe and
Sulaiman Bah as the two were named to the conference's preseason watchlist.

Eddie Soto, received 114 points in the final tallying in the poll. Defending national and conference champions Cal State LA are the preseason favorite to finish first again, receiving seven first-place votes for 138 points. Cal Poly Pomona is right on the Golden Eagles' tail after garnering five first-place votes for 134 points.
Cal State San Bernardino is predicted to finish fourth with 104 points followed by Chico State with 80 points. Rounding out the poll are Cal Poly Humboldt with 75 points, Cal State Monterey Bay (74), Sonoma State (51), Stanislaus State (42), Cal State San Marcos (34) and Cal State East Bay (20).
The Toros kick off 2022 at home against Academy of Art on Thursday, August 25 at 6 p.m.
