INDIANAPOLIS – For the first time in six years, Cal State Dominguez Hills will be playing for a NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship.

The national office announced its 40-team field Monday evening, pitting the No. 4-seeded Dominguez Hills against No. 5 Colorado School of Mines. Based on their seeding, the Toros and Orediggers are awarded a bye into the second round of the Super Regional 4 bracket.

The two teams will meet at Toro Stadium Saturday for a 6 p.m. kickoff. The winner will advance to play in the Super Region 4 final next week.

Dominguez Hills, the CCAA regular-season champions, returns to NCAA Regionals as an at-large selection by the championship committee. The Toros were defeated by Cal State LA in the CCAA Tournament final Sunday to be handed their first loss of the season. CSUDH enters the national tournament 14-1-5 overall. It is led by CCAA Offensive Player of the Year
Sulaiman Bah, who is fourth in the nation with 17 goals and 44 points.

The Colorado School of Mines guaranteed its spot to the national tournament after winning the RMAC Tournament title for the fifth time in the last six seasons, beating Colorado State Pueblo in a penalty kick shootout for the championship. The Orediggers are led by Tristan Semelsberger, who has 14 goals this season, which ranks 11
th best in the nation.

Defending national champions Cal State LA took the top spot in the Super Region and will wait for the winner of No. 8 Northwest Nazarene and No. 9 West Texas A&M match Thursday. St. Mary's (Texas) receives the second seed and will take on the winner of No. 7 Midwestern State and No. 10 Biola in the first round. Also representing the CCAA is Cal Poly Pomona, which will be the No. 6 seed and travel to Colorado State Pueblo to play in the second round.

The Super Region champions will meet in Washington on the campus of Seattle Pacific for the NCAA Division II Championship for the semifinal December 1 and the final December 3.
