Kaneohe, Hawaii -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team allowed a goal to Hawai'i Pacific in the 89th minute of play as the Toros fell by a final score of 1-0, Saturday at Atherton Field.
 
CSUDH returns from the Hawaii road trip and start the season with a 0-2 record. The Sharks improve to 2-0.
 
The Toros outshot their opponents for the second straight game. CSUDH had 11 shots to HPU's nine. Toro goalie Ruth-Maria Soto had four saves, while Sharks goalie Lauren Spencer compiled six stops. Senior midfielder Dana Dibble had the most chances out of any CSUDH player, compiling three shots, two being on-goal.
 
With 1:56 left in regulation, HPU's Leonicia Lopez shot the ball from 25-yards out and found the back of the net for the lone score of the contest.
 
CSUDH will open at home on Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m., taking on Concordia Irvine in a non-confernece matchup.
