Athletics Unveils LGBTQ Awareness Video

CARSON -- Spearheaded by its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics Department created a video to help raise awareness for the LGBTQ community. With Toro coaches and student-athletes from all 10 sports the focus of the public service video, the footage was filmed during the spring semester and supervised by CSUDH's Interim Athletics Director Jamie Bouyer and Academic Advisor Meghan McGarry.

"As one of many projects that SAAC worked on this year, it was very important that the group complete an LGBTQ awareness video," begins Bouyer. "On a campus that embraces inclusion and diversity, our student-athletes wanted to make a public commitment from the athletics department of our support and acceptance of all Toros, and I commend both our student-athletes and our staff for their efforts."
