Box Score

LOS ANGELES -- Host Cal State L.A. scored single goals in each period en route to a 2-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on "Senior Day" for the Golden Eagles, sweeping the regular season series in the process.

With the loss, the Toros fall to 5-9-3, 4-8-3 CCAA.

Today's match-up was in stark contrast to the previous meeting in Carson on October 20, an offensive 4-3 win for the Golden Eagles that spoiled CSUDH's "Senior Day."

This afternoon's contest saw CSULA score in the first 20 minutes after Amalia Arvidsson netted her ninth goal of the year at 16:04 following a cross and deflection that sailed past Toro keeper Jennifer Ackerly.

That's where the score remained until the second half when Andrea Lammers dribbled past a Toro defender, and sent her shot past Ackerly's left for an insurance goal.

CSULA out-shot the Toros 20-8 in the game, including 8-5 on frame with Ackerly forcd to make 6 saves in the loss.

The Toros will conclude their 2013 season on Sunday at Cal Poly Pomona, with first kick set for 2 pm.
