22nd Annual Toros Scholarship Golf Classic Set for June 22 at Lakewood Country Club

CARSON -- Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics is just one month away from the 22nd Annual Toros Scholarship Golf Classic, taking place on Friday, June 22, at the stunning Lakewood Country Club in Lakewood, California.

The event, which serves as a major fundraiser for the Toros athletics program, again is close to selling out the field for the sixth-consecutive year, with all proceeds going towards student-athlete scholarships.

The day begins with an 11:30 am registration, followed by a 12 noon BBQ lunch. The four-person “shamble,” a modified scramble format, will include contests for closest to the pin, longest drive, and a hole-in-one, along with many other surprises for the day's participants.

Following the day's play will be a silent auction consisting of many unique items to begin at 6:15 pm, followed by dinner at 7:00 pm, distribution of awards and prizes at 7:30 pm, and the always-exciting live auction to conclude the day, set for a 8:00 pm start.

Only a handful of foursomes remain in the tournament, so reserve your spot today by downloading the information brochure and submitting it to the Athletics Department. In addition to participating in a foursome, sponsorship packages are available to help fund student-athlete scholarships for the coming years.
