Toros Scholarship Golf Classic Set for June 21 at Skylinks Golf Course

CARSON -- Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics is just one month away from the 23rd Annual Toros Scholarship Golf Classic, taking place on Friday, June 21, at the beautiful Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach, California.

The event, which serves as a major fundraiser for the Toros athletics program, has just a handful of foursomes left for the day of golf, with all proceeds going towards student-athlete scholarships.

The day begins with a 12 noon registration, followed by a 12:30 putting contest with lunch being served. The four-person "shamble" then commences with a shotgun start at 1:30 pm, and will include contests for closest to the pin, longest drive, and a hole-in-one, along with many other surprises for the day's participants.

Following the day's play will be a dinner coinciding with the silent auction at 6:30 pm, after which the team awards and tee prizes will be announced.

Only a handful of foursomes remain in the tournament, so reserve your spot today by downloading the information brochure and submitting it to the Athletics Department. In addition to participating in a foursome, sponsorship packages are available to help fund student-athlete scholarships for the coming years.
