KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eight Cal State Dominguez Hills men's basketball student-athletes were part of five California Collegiate Athletic Association schools and 39 total men's basketball players to be recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches for their academic excellence during the 2025-26 year, naming them to the NABC's Honors Court.

Za-Ontay Boothman earned his third-consecutive Honors Court selection to lead the Toros, and was joined by Tomi Adesiji, Jalen Brown, David Cheatom, Jayden Johnston, Promise Madubugwu, JJ Mitchell, and Josiah Sanders.
 
Men's basketball student-athletes from Cal State East Bay, San Francisco State, Stanislaus State and UC Merced joined the Toros after these recipients completed the the academic year with a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
 
Cal State East Bay led the conference with 11 selections to the NABC Honors Court, followed by the Toros' eight selections. Stanislaus State placed seven on the list, and San Francisco State and UC Merced each had six selections.
 
The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who completed the 2025-26 academic year with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.
 
More than 2,300 student-athletes earned spots on the 2025-26 NABC Honors Court, while over 400 programs received Team Academic Excellence Awards. The awards are presented annually to teams and student-athletes from all levels of college basketball.
