SAN MARCOS, Calif. -- Cal State Dominguez Hills sophomore
Nevaeh Lane earned the first of hopefully many California Collegiate Athletic Association All-CCAA honors as a Toro after earning a 3rd-team honor on the final day of the CCAA Track and Field Championships.
The sprint specialist placed 3rd in today's 100 meter dash final in a time of 12.04, missing a runner-up finish by just .13 seconds and a first-place finish by .15.
Lane also qualified for the 200 meter dash final and placed fourth in 24.29, missing out on a medal by .09.
Lane earned 11 points today for the Toros, who finished 9th of 10 in team competition.

The Toros will continue on their quest to post provisional marks to qualify for the NCAA Championships in late May. The next meet will take place next week at the Azusa Pacific hosted Last Chance Meet.
