CLAREMONT, Calif. -- Cal State Dominguez Hills' relay teams, sprinter Nevaeh Lane and long jumper Haylie Spegon shined brightest at today's 38th Annual Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, taking place at Strehle Track at Pomona College.

The 4x100 relay team posted a third place finish of eight teams competing, with the four-person plus alternate team of Alyssa Meeks, Nevaeh Lane, Cyvanna Bowen, Ali Medina, and Rylee Montez finishing in 47.16.

Not to be outdone, the 4x400 four person plus alternate team of Amorianna Leviett, Montez, Medina, Alyssah Johnson, and Rayne Hawkins crossing the line in 4:04.15, finishing ahead of two Cal State San Bernardino teams and one from Pepperdine.

Individually, Lane finished 5th in the 100 dash, crossing the line in 12.04 ahead of a slew of fellow CCAA student-athletes along with six competitors from Division I Pepperdine University.

Spegon, meanwhile, finished 7th in her long jump event with a distance of 5.19m / 17'0.5", ahead of 51 other jumpers in the field.
