SAN MARCOS, Calif. -- Sophomore sprinter
Nevaeh Lane ran the 4th fastest time in the 200 meter heats to qualify for tomorrow's 200 meter final, highlighting Cal State Dominguez Hills' effort on day two of the CCAA Track and Field Championships.
Lane ran a 24.43 in her heat this afternoon to earn a place in tomorrow's final at 2:30 pm. Tomorrow's 200 will be the second final Lane competes in after aiming for her first All-CCAA honor in the 100 meter final, taking place at 1:25 pm where she'll be joined by
Alyssa Meeks.
Raisa Miller placed 5th in the triple jump with a leap of 11.62m / 38'1.5", giving the Toros four points in the team competition.
