AZUSA, Calif. -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills track and field team competed in Bryan Clay Invitational at Cougar Stadium, hosted by Azusa Pacific University, the second invitational this week for the Cardinal and Gold.
In addition to the Toros and fellow CCAA schools in Cal State San Bernardino and Cal Poly Humboldt, this weekend's meet featured Division I competitors from powers UCLA, SMU and Stanford to name a few.
The 4x100 relay fared best today as the quartet of
Cyvanna Bowen,
Nevaeh Lane,
Amorianna Leviett and
Alyssa Meeks finished 17th in a time of 47.49, besting teams from Pepperdine, UC Davis, CSUSB, Point Loma and Chapman.
Raisa Miller posted the top individual result, finishing 20th in the triple jump with a leap of 11.31 meters (31'-1.75").
