CARSON, Calif. – Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer dropped a 1-0 decision to Cal Poly Pomona on Friday night at Toro Stadium.
The Toros (4-6-2, 1-3-1 CCAA) generated seven total shots and three on goal, keeping pressure on the nationally ranked Broncos throughout the match. Emilia Sievers, Alexis Delgado, and Gisele Speirs each recorded a shot on target for Dominguez Hills, while Alyssa Edwards added two attempts in the attack.
In goal, Audrey Haman turned in another steady performance with six saves across 90 minutes, holding Pomona scoreless in the second half.
Cal State Dominguez Hills will continue CCAA play next week with a pair of key road matches.
