Francis Bautista closes the first round of the NCAA Central/West Regional tied for 25th place on the 71-par University Golf Course hosted by Western New Mexico University.
On the 7242 yard course,
Francis Bautista delivered a 1-over par 72 in his first round of the tournament. The top five teams will automatically advance to the next stage. Additionally, among those not on the top five teams, Bautista is looking secure his advancement by ranking as one of the top two individual competitors.
The NCAA Men's Golf Central/West Regional continues with round two tomorrow in Las Cruces.
