ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The CSU Dominguez Hills Toros made an impressive showing on the opening day of the CCAA Championship Tournament, securing a strong second-place start with a consistent team score of 286.
Jonah Camarillo and
Aaron Sanchez led the charge for the Toros, both tying for third place individually. With remarkable consistency and skill, Camarillo and Sanchez each carded rounds of 4-under par 68.
Francis Bautista, holding the team's top ranking, also put forth a solid effort, tying for 16th place with a first-round score of 72.
David Cho, playing in the third slot for the Toros, tied for 34th place with a score of 78.
Andy Garcia rounded out the team's scoring, placing 39th as he scored of 81 in the initial round.
The Toros continue the CCAA Championship Tournament tomorrow Tuesday, April 22
nd in Rohnert Park.
