ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – On the second day of the CCAA Championship Tournament, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros added a round of 298 to their initial 286, bringing their two-day total to 584.
Jonah Camarillo, one of the standout players for the Toros on day one, carded a 73 after an opening 68. Camarillo remains tied for eighth with a combined score of 141.
Francis Bautista, the team's top player, showed improvement in his second round, shooting a 71 following his initial round of 72. This performance brought his total to 143, placing him tied for 14
th.
Aaron Sanchez, after a strong start on the first day with a 68, found the second day more challenging, posting a 77. His total score of 145 positions him tied for 22nd, reflecting the fluctuating nature of golf where even seasoned players can face hurdles.
David Cho, consistent with his first day's score, beat his 78 with a 77 in the second round, totaling 155. Cho's performance placed him 38
th in the standings.
Andy Garcia improved slightly on his second day, recording a 79 after an opening 81, which brought his total to 160 and placed him 40th.
The Toros compete in the final round of the CCAA Championship Tournament tomorrow, April 23
rd at the Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club.
