SAN DIEGO, Calif., - The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros track and field team had a commendable showing in their latest meet, with athletes making their mark in both relay and field events.
 
The Women's 4 x 100 Relay was a highlight for the Toros, as the team of Melandy Davis, Leloni Ervin, Teloni Ervin, and Alyssa Renwick put forth a strong performance, finishing 6th with a time of 50.63 seconds.
 
In the field events, sophomore Fallon Forman represented the Toros in the Women's Shot Put, achieving a 15th place finish with her best throw of 8.47 meters (27 feet, 9.5 inches). Forman's series of throws demonstrated consistency and power, with marks of 8.19, 8.47, 8.17, and 7.21 meters, indicating a strong showing in the event and contributing valuable points for the team.
 
The Toros return to action March 29th-March 30^th in Hayward, Calif as they compete at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
