SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The sophomore phenom, Nala Williams has been selected 2023-24 D2 CCA NCAA Division II Women's Basketball All-West Region Second Team.
 
On the season, Nala Williams has collected three CCAA Player of the Week awards and was selected National Player of the Week by D2CIDA. She was also named to the All-CCAA First Team. 
 
Williams had a career year for the Toros in the 2023-24 season. The sophomore guard led the team in scoring (18.4), assists (77), and steals (68). She also broke a 42-year-old school record for most single game points, scoring 42 points against Cal State East Bay.
 
Not only did those numbers lead the team, but they were among the best in the CCAA, as well. Williams ranks second in the league in scoring and fifth in assists. She was an offensive threat the whole season as she was only held twice scoring under single digits.
 
At the close of the 2023-24 season, Williams tallied 431 points, 70 steals, 78 assists, and 142 rebounds.
