Andy Yoon was named a 1st-team All-CCAA selection, it was announced by the CCAA office.
The Cypress native finished tied for 15th at last week's CCAA Championship Tournament, the highest finish for the Toro quintet. In 32 rounds of play over 12 tournaments this year, Yoon averaged a 1-over par 73.03 for the year, which puts him 21st in the NCAA West Region.
Yoon's low round was a 5-under 67 achieved at the NCAA West Region Fall Preview in September, with his low tournament coming at the Western Washington Invitational at 208, firing a 69-69-70 over the three rounds.
He won two individual titles this year, first for the week of September 21-17 during the fall campaign at WWU's tournament, and then for the week of March 9-14 at the Tim Tierney Shootout, where he shared medalist honors with a CS San Marcos competitor.
Yoon connected for 110 birdies and six eagles on the year, averaging 10.25 pars per round.
The Toros' top golfer will find out later today whether he qualifies for the NCAA regional as an individual participant.
