Andres Navarro (pictured) and
Patrick Ordonez tied for 43rd place for Cal State Dominguez Hills' best finish at the two-day Hanny Stanislaus Invitational, which concluded this afternoon at the Turlock Golf and Country Club.
As a team, CSUDH finished 12th of the 16 teams competing with its collective 915, one stroke behind 11th place Cal State East Bay and nine behind 10th place Sonoma State.
Ordonez shot an even 72 during the 1st round and followed with 77 and 79 for his 228, with Navarro firing a 74, 75, and 79 to reach that total.
Andy Yoon tied for 65th (72-88-73-233), with
Joseph Sotelo (70th, 78-75-83-236) and
Francis Bautista (T90th, 73-83-88-244) rounding out the Toro quintet.
Western Washington took home both team and individual honos, with the Vikings finishing at 871 and Jordan Lee shooting a 4-under 212 for the tourney.
CSUDH heads to Rohnert Park in April 10-11 for the NCAA West Region Spring Preview, the final tournament before the CCAA Championships, scheduled for April 17-19 in Riverside.
