The celebration began in the Dignity Health Sports Park's Main Stadium at halftime of the women's contest hosting Cal Poly Pomona, and continued in the American Express Stadium Club where CSUDH staff and women's soccer alumni joined in the celebration.
After Assistant Athletics Director
Mel Miranda welcomed the guests of honor and their families, a video from CSUDH President Parham was played congratulating the team and relaying how important an achievement that remains to this day.
Dr. William Franklin, Vice President of Student Affairs, followed with a few words, commenting on how great the entire team and coaches still looked while musing on how much hair spray was used during their time in the '90s.
Franklin then introduced Vice President of Development Scott Barrett, who noted how important alumni are to continuing program success.
