Soccer at the Stub Set for Friday

CARSON -- With just seven California Collegiate Athletic Association games left in the 2014 season, the Cal State Dominguez Hills soccer programs are set to take center stage this Friday with games inside the Stub Hub Center's Main Stadium.

The games, occuring once per year for both teams, will see the women battle San Francisco State at 4:30 pm, followed by the men's contest against the Gators at 7 pm.

All CSUDH faculty, staff and students are admitted free of charge, with CSUDH's Office of the President, Office of Student Life, Loker Student Union, ASI, and University Housing providing additional giveaways to encourage campus support.

While supplies last, each student, faculty or staff member with valid ID will receive one hot dog and drink free for each game, with the first 150 students who attend each game also receiving a limited edition CSUDH rally towel.

The women's squad, led by first year head coach Aileen Nasypany, is coming off its first win of the year in a resounding 2-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona last Sunday, while the men's squad sits in the middle of the CCAA pack after dropping a pair of CCAA games this past weekend.

Parking is available in Lot 6, with entrance to the Main Stadium available through the Stub Hub Center's Main Entrance, located south of Lot 6's southwest corner.
