CARSON -- Cal State Dominguez Hills was blanked for the fourth-straight match and fifth in their past six as visiting Cal Poly Humboldt used a late goal to take a 1-0 decision over the Toros in the annual Dignity Health Sports Park Main Stadium contest.
CSUDH falls to 2-6 overall and is still in search of its first conference win, dropping to 0-4.
The teams played even, with the Toros enjoying a 7 to 4 shot advantage in the first 45 minutes of play.
Humboldt turned the tables on the Toros in the second half by outshooting CSUDH 8 to 4, and finally broke through in the 86th minute of play.
CSUDH failed to get a shot off in the final four minutes, resulting in the 1-0 decision.
