FORT MYERS, Florida -- Cal State Dominguez Hills'
Jalen Brown advanced to the Bevo Francis Top 50 Watch List for the 2025-26 season, it was announced by Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee.
Cal State Dominguez Hills, which finished the 2024-25 season as NCAA National Runner-Up, placed two on the initial Top 100 Watch List unveiled on January 28 that included Brown and
Josiah Sanders.
The list spans the top student-athletes competing across DII, DIII, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA programs, and is named after Bevo Francis, who holds the DII single-game scoring record (113) and the season average record (46.5 points per game) while at Rio Grande.
The list will be narrowed to 25 on March 15. The finalists will be revealed on April 4, with the winner announced on April 6, the day after the 2026 DII men's basketball championship.

The Toros, currently in 2nd place in the CCAA, clinched a berth in the upcoming CCAA Tournament, scheduled for March 5-7 and hosted on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona.
CSUDH travels to Stanislaus State and UC Merced this week for its final road trip of the season, before concluding the regular with a pair of home games, beginning February 26.
