Baseball Falls to Crosstown Rival to Open Four-Game Non-Conference Series

CARSON -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills baseball team saw its four-game win streak snapped after dropping a 7-3 decision to crosstown-rival Cal State L.A. this afternoon in game one of a four-game non-conference series.  Nigel Buckley drove in a pair of runs in the loss.

Up 1-0 after four innings of play, three Toro miscues followed that led to a pair of 3-run innings for the Golden Eagle, big innings that proved too difficult to overcome in the setback.

Game two is set for tomorrow afternoon at Toro Field, with first pitch scheduled for 1 pm.
