CARSON, Calif. — A total of 51 Cal State Dominguez Hills student-athletes have earned a spot on the 2025 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll, announced Tuesday by the conference office.
To qualify, student-athletes must be of at least sophomore athletic standing and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher while competing in a CCAA-sponsored sport. Winter sports include men's and women's basketball, while spring sports include baseball, softball, and track & field.
Among the 664 student-athletes recognized across the CCAA's 12 institutions, Dominguez Hills' honorees represented five programs: baseball (26), men's basketball (7), women's basketball (6), softball (10), and women's track & field (2).
Three Toros earned the distinction for the third time in their academic careers: Justin Abercrombie (baseball), Kaylee Hull (softball), and Alani Nguyen (softball).
Several others were honored for the second time, including Brett Castillo and Anthony Corrales from baseball, Samantha Kwiatkowski from softball, Leloni Ervin and Teloni Ervin from track & field, and Kylee Edgar from women's basketball.
