CHICO, Calif. – Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer fell 1-0 to Chico State on Friday night at University Soccer Stadium.
The Toros (3-4-1, 0-1 CCAA) generated seven shots in the match, including three on goal. Kaylee Leavitt led the attack with three attempts, while Alyssa Edwards and Emilia Sievers each tested the Wildcat goalkeeper with shots on target. Makenzie Hewison also added an attempt as CSUDH pressed for the equalizer late.
In goal, Audrey Haman anchored the Toro defense with three saves across 90 minutes.
Cal State Dominguez Hills will look to bounce back Sunday when it travels north to face Cal Poly Humboldt.
