SAN MARCOS, Calif. – In the face of a formidable challenge from the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros started off with a promising lead in the early innings before falling, 8-1.
Hull's opportunistic play, taking advantage of an error to bring Aguado home, gave the Toros an initial advantage. However, the momentum swiftly shifted as the Pioneers scored eight runs in the third inning.
