In a back-and-forth affair, the Toros rallied from behind to secure a victory against Cal State San Marcos. The scoring commenced in the first inning when Cal State San Marcos took an early lead with an RBI single. However, the Toros responded in the third inning when
Kaylee Hull's single to right side brought in
Jay Ross, reducing the deficit to 3-1.

The Toros' offense came alive in the fifth inning, as they exploded for six runs to seize control of the game.
Kaylee Hull's second RBI single of the day brought in

Kianna Abellera's two-RBI single, taking a 5-2 lead. However, Cal State San Marcos mounted a late comeback, with another homer bringing them within one run. In the seventh inning, Cal State San Marcos completed the comeback, scoring three runs to secure a 6-5 victory over the Toros.
