CARSON – In a doubleheader that showcased their depth and tenacity, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros claimed two victories against the Stanislaus State Warriors with dominant pitching performances anchoring both games.
Game One
The Toros seized control in the fourth inning of the first game, with
Kaylee Hull and
Alani Nguyen delivering crucial RBI singles to establish a 2-0 lead. The team's offense capitalized on scoring opportunities early, setting the stage for a defensive showcase that maintained the lead through seven innings.
Mariah Ramirez was the star on the mound, pitching a complete game shutout. Her control was impeccable, allowing no runs on five hits and no walks, striking out eight, and requiring just 91 pitches to face the minimum number of batters, underscoring a game dominated by her prowess.

In the second game, the Toros' bats remained hot, with
