Sulaiman Bah Selected CCAA Athlete of the Year

CARSON – For the first time since 2008, Sulaiman Bah earns the prestigious CCAA Athlete of the Year for the Toros!

The last student-athlete to be selected CCAA Male Athlete of the Year was men's soccer standout Kevin Gallaugher in 2008.

Closing the awards season, Bah adds to his list of accolades which include but are not limited to D2CCAA West Region Player of the Year, D2CCAA All-American First Team, and Pixellot Offensive Player of the Week five times.

Bah has left a lasting impression in the program's record books with his exceptional performance in all 22 matches this season. He exceeded the previous record of 46 points, established by JC Bolanos and Alex Bengard during the 2000 national championship season, by amassing an impressive total of 18 goals and 12 assists, resulting in a cumulative 48 points.

With a remarkable overall season record of 15-2-5, Dominguez Hills clinched an undefeated 7-0-4 conference season, claiming their first CCAA championship since 2015. This successful campaign also earned them a spot in the NCAA tournament for the first time in five years, where they advanced to the third round.

Bah will continue his college career at NCAA Div. I Cal State Fullerton, donning the navy blue and orange for the Titans. Follow Bah's career here! Once a Toro, Toro for life!
