ALLENDALE, Michigan -- Members of the Cal State Dominguez Hills track team competed in the GVSU Big Meet this weekend, hosted by Grand Valley State University, with sisters Teloni Ervin and Leloni Ervin posting the best individual finishes.

Teloni Ervin posted a 29th place finish in the 60 meter dash in 8.37 to highlight CSUDH's effort, with twin sister Leloni Ervin right behind her at 8.43.  Teloni then posted a 30th place finish in the 400 meter dash, crossing the finish line in 1:00.84.

Yesterda, Teloni Ervin posted the best finish in the 600 meter run, finishing 19th in a time of 1:44.61, just 11 seconds off the winner's time in a field filled with Division I runners from Marquette, Loyola, Northern Illinois, and Bradley among others.

Her twin sister Leloni Ervin finished in 21st place in a time of 1:44.99, highlighting the day for the Cardinal and Gold.

Other Toro results in the 600 meter run are: Graciela Gomez (30th, 1:55.76), Leticia Soloman (36th, 2:0440), Hailey Gonzales (39th, 2:30.76), Katrina Witbeck (40th, 2:46.34), and Chantel Palmer (41st, 2:55.63).

The Toros conclude their indoor season in two weeks at the Fasttrack Last Chance Invitational, in Staten Island, NY.
