FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer coach
Eddie Soto has been selected to the Cal State Fullerton Hall of Fame, Class of 2023.
Soto joined the Toros as the head men's soccer coach in 2019. In his first year with the program the Toros made the first round of the CCAA Championships. Last season the men's soccer team were regular season CCAA Champions before making their way to the second round of the NCAA Super Region 4.
As a student-athlete at Cal State Fullerton, Soto closed his career with 96 points ranking him third all-time in scoring. He scored a total of 38 goals as a Titan, tying him for second all-time. Soto is also tied for third in assists and holds the single-season record as he scored 18 goals in his 1994 season.
Soto was named a second team all-American in 1992 and all-American honorable mention in 1993. During his three years with the Titans, the team went 42-20-2 and reached the national semifinals in 1993.
Coach Soto will be honored tonight, Friday, November 3
rd, as he will join his Cal State Fullerton Hall of Fame Class of 2023.
