CARSON — The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros faced a tough outing against the Cal State LA Golden Eagles, succumbing in straight sets.
The match began with a 14-25 defeat in the first set, followed by a 19-25 loss in the second and an 18-25 setback in the third.
For the Toros,
Ava Hurry emerged as the top attacker, posting five kills on the match. She also contributed defensively with two digs.
Bailey Fuches and
Teagan Irish also made notable contributions, recording four kills each. Fuches, showcased her all-around game by adding four digs and four assists.
Evania Sanchez took charge of setting responsibilities, tallying 11 assists, while
Cassie Taylor anchored the backline with seven digs.
Nina Robles showcased her defensive prowess with a match-leading 11 digs.
