Box Score CARSON -- Heading into today's non-conference match-up against CCAA Conference foe Cal State Monterey Bay with a perfect 6-0 record, Cal State Dominguez Hills suffered its first blemish on the 2022 year, but remained unbeaten after playing to a 2-2 draw against the Otters.

Martin Velasquez scored for the Toros, who moved to 6-0-1.
Despite being outshot 10-3 in the opening 45 minutes, CSUSM struck first after a Garrett Hayes goal at the 23:52 mark.Â
Sulaiman Bah, however, who leads the conference in goals, equalized 15 minutes later on an unassisted score to knot the match entering intermission.
The two teams traded places after the break as CSUDHÂ was outshot 10-6 in the second period, but managed to tally the period's first score, courtesy of
Martin Velasquez.
Similar to the first half, however, CSUMB answered to knot the match six minutes later on a Roberto Banegas score.
The Toros peppered CSUMB goalie into making four saves on the afternoon, with the physical match totaling 27 fouls.
CSUDH kicks off CCAA play on Friday, September 23, as it travels to Cal Poly Pomona for a 7 pm tilt.
