Women's Basketball Win Each Quarter to Beat Monterey Bay

SEASIDE – The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team quickly put their latest loss in the rearview mirror and ran away to a 73-46 win over Cal State Monterey Bay Saturday.

The Toros have won four of their last five games to improve to 5-7 overall and 3-4 in the CCAA.

Dominguez Hills outscored the Otters in all four quarters, scoring 17 in the first three periods and then 22 in the fourth.

The Toros did all their scoring from the field, going 29-of-61 overall while hitting seven of them from beyond arc. They only went 8-of-9 on the free throw line.

Monterey Bay made 32 turnovers and the Toros scored as many off those miscues.

Auren Isaacson bounced back from a cold night in Thursday's loss to SF State. After scoring only nine points against the Gators, the sophomore ended Saturday's game against the Otters dropping in 19. Asia Jordan also did the same, scoring 17 points against MB after tallying eight two days ago.

The Toros return home to host Sonoma State Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The Seawolves are coming off a 64-57 win over Cal State San Bernardino in Rohnert Park.
